Boo!

Did I scare ya? No need to act tough, we’re all Toons here. Once again, it’s that time of year we celebrate with the most frightful of holidays, Halloween! Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or new to town, this season is a great reminder that anything can be made fun if you make sure to stay silly.

Pumpkins, costumes, and too much (or not enough!) candy, what more could you want? Perhaps some scares? I’ve brought some terrifying tales to help you get in the mood.

There have been whispers on the winds of some new Cog prowling the streets in the dark of Dreamland. Seen only in shadows and silhouettes, waiting for some poor unsuspecting soul to wander by so can have the blood sucked right out of their-

Oh, that’s already a thing? A Bloodsucker? Huh. Guess you’re right.

Well how about this? We’ve all been there: you’re all alone at your estate. Maybe it’s late at night. Probably not. But things feel a little… off. Things are too quiet. There’s no noise but your footfall and the occasional birdsong. You begin to wonder if you really are alone…

What? It’s always quiet at your estate...?

Okay, okay. I’ve got one more, and I’m certain it’ll be a surprise. In fact, this last one will scare your gloves right off. Think of your favourite game. The one that means the most to you, that you have the most fun playing. It might even be one you’ve played since you were a kid.

Now imagine it’s gone, never to return. You can’t play it anymore. Almost as if the game had died.

Brr, I think I scared myself with that last one. Luckily it’s just a scary story. I don’t know what I’d do without a good ol’ game of Toonopoly!
