Any behavior deemed to be offensive, abusive, or destructive to the server/players as determined by Admin/Referee discretion will be subject to a seasonal or permanent ban from Hostile Takeover League. We will look into all cases and handle them appropriately.

No cheating, hacking, or glitching/exploiting:
Cheating of any kind is not allowed and will not be tolerated. Exploiting consists of using any game bugs for an unfair advantage.

Do not abuse in-game communications:
Only a Team Captain can communicate with in game voice or text to coordinate the match with an Admin or Referee. Any participant that is not a Team Captain using communication will get a team warning for their team. Second offense will forfeit the entire match in favor of the opposing team. No music, unnecessary noises, soundboard, or spam over global, or side channels (voice or text).

No Smurfing:
A participant is only allowed to compete on one team within Hostile Takeover League. Player IDs will be checked for all players before a match is started to prevent “ringers” or replacements for participants that aren’t present for the match.

Home & Visitor Assignment:
Hostile Takeover League will chose what teams are Home and which teams are Visitor randomly by coin toss or by location.

Match Structure Tournament Version:
All match play is first team to reach 2 wins. Teams will play best out of 3 matches.
Home team will select their mode and side for the first match the Visitor team will select the second match mode and side. If a 3rd match needs to be played for the tie breaker the Admin/Referee will select Elimination or Information mode as a sudden death round as these modes have no team advantage. Please be sure to understand the modes of ProMod and which modes have team advantage as it is the team's responsibility to select their mode/side.

Match Structure Tournament Hardcore Version:
All match play is first team to reach 2 wins. Teams will play best out of 3 matches.
Home team will play Terrorist Faction on Detonation mode for the first match. Teams will switch sides and Visitor team will play Terrorist Faction on Detonation mode. If a 3rd match needs to be played for the tie breaker teams will play Information mode as a sudden death round as these modes have no team advantage. Once a participant has been eliminated from the match you may wait at the match scoreboard and timeleft screen till the match is finished or disconnect from the server completely. Participants idle in the lobby while the match is in progress will be kicked from the server for that one particular match and allowed back in afterwards. Participants caught rejoining the match after being eliminated will forfeit the entire match in favor of the opposing team.

Match Start Protocol:
All teams must have the correct amount participants present in the server at the scheduled start time of the match. If a team does not have enough participants 15 minutes past the scheduled start time they will forfeit the entire match in favor of the opposing team. If both teams do not have enough participants to compete the match will be rescheduled. If a match has to be rescheduled a second time both teams will forfeit and receive a loss or a draw depending on the structure of the league bracket. Once all participants are present in the server for the scheduled match, Team Captains will inform the Admin/Referee that they are ready to start the match. Team Captains can only stall on being ready 15 minutes past the scheduled start time after which the match will be start by the Admin/Referee.
